Have an older child in grade school? Not a problem. We also provide safe and fun after school care for children ranging from 5 years to 12 years old.
Frog Street Pre-K (FSPK) is a high quality, research-based bilingual curriculum and is focused on high quality instruction and materials in the field of early childhood. The instructional models in FSPK target strategies to ensure long-term memory, alertness, and information processing based on brain science research. FSPK also incorporates STEM education, an approach to teaching and learning that integrates the content and skills of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Frog Street Toddler is a bilingual program designed specifically for little ones 18 to 36 months old. It is aligned to Head Start Readiness Goals and State Standards. The program is organized around the developmental domains: Language, Cognitive, Physical, Social/Emotional, and Approaches toward learning. It meets the needs of all learners and brings joy to learning each day.
Based on ASL American Sign Language, Sign2Me program for Baby Sign Language has become the standard for helping pre-verbal babies communicate a year or more before they can speak. Beginning at six months of age, ASL Signs helps with fewer tantrums, screaming and crying, creating less frustration, it fits perfectly into early education curricula. Creating stronger bonding between the child and caregiver, signing promotes interest in books and promotes early literacy.
Our After-School Program includes 45-60 minutes of supervised time and space for children to complete daily homework assignments. Our caregivers are available to encourage children’s work and to offer help when needed. We will provide a meal/snack for all afterschool children. This allows children to spend more quality time at home with family members.
Learning doesn’t only apply to reading, math and science. Here at Daydreams Dayschool, we encourage students to pursue every area of intellect, including art. Our art curriculum introduces your child to more than just finger painting or coloring in the lines, inspiring your child to express his or her dreams and goals. Our art program features enriching field trips to art museums as well as parent and child workshops that encourages family interaction and learning.
Family First Parenting Program
Daydreams Day School understands and encourages the importance of strong family relationships. We take a genuine interest in getting to know your family and your child, which is a factor that helps us provide the best care possible. Aside from our daily duties of caring for your child, we also offer family classes on weekends providing a different topic each week. Check out our schedule and join us for some family fun!
